Yay for Memorization!

Kaia is learning his first Primary Song...

I bet almost any LDS could guess what one it is..

He is learning "I am a Child of God" and almost knows the entire first verse and only requires a little prompting for the others. I think if he was not so shy he would be able to say it more by himself but he is getting there!!

He knows some bits and pieces of other songs too but cannot really sing any one song by himself. We listen to Primary songs in the car and sing them around the house but that was not helping him with memorizing any of them.

To help him memorize them we are singing them over and over every day. Today he showed me how much this has been helping him by singing most of it by himself.

Way to go Kaia!!!
